52 players entered the 13th annual Con Sean Darts tournament in the Bridge Bar, Carrick on Saturday 15th January. John Flood retained the title following a 6-4 victory with travelling companion John Murray in a top class final this was Floods third time to win this event he also had the highest checkout of the day a 135 in his 5-0 semi final victory win over Antony Gallagher, Declan Cunningham was the other defeated semi finalist.
Our thanks to the Bridge Bar for hosting this event and the bar staff, to the ticket sellers and all who bought tickets many thanks. To Raymond O’Donnell (Quinn’s shop), John McNulty (Mace), Adrian McGuire (Carrick Meats), Sliabh Liag Bar, Quigg’s Bar, The Bridge Bar and Jimmy Doogan who kindly donated prizes for the raffle and to all the players and supporters who attended many tanks to you all.
