The 14th Annual Paddy Byrne Tournament will be held Sunday 7th December in Biddy’s, Roartys and Glenhead Tavern, Cashel. €1,000 in prizes starts at 3pm Sharp.

John Con McGinley continued his dominance in the Paddy Byrne darts cup by winning it for the fourth year in a row and his fifth time overall following a 5-2 victory over Mike Naulty in a high scoring final. In the semi finals John defeated Raymond Hegerty 4-1 and Mike came from 3-0 down to defeat Anthony Gallagher 4-3.

I really enjoyed the tournament, next year I will come a little later!! I just wanted to thank everyone who offered me a place to stay for the night, as they were concerned about me driving back to Dungloe. I really enjoyed the whole day, and will be back next year. When and where is the next tournament??
